There are trees in all sizes, small, medium and large trees. There is a suitable tree for every living room, hall and hall. It is also possible to pay cashless! No need to worry about transport. Fridolin Wessel helps to unload the trees. Thanks to the Honert, Schwanewilm, Uphues and Haverkamp companies, the efforts of the pensioners' band and the 6th company of the Sythen shooting club, it is possible to deliver the trees again this year. Many thanks to all the helpers. The physical well-being is also taken care of. There will be homemade SchlossGlühwein, beer, coffee, children's punch and non-alcoholic drinks. The Sythen winter sausage will be grilled on the barbecue. Thanks to generous donations of dough, waffles can be offered again this year. Music by Paul Weidekamp and the Hullern brass band (in dry weather) will create a Christmassy atmosphere; the Sythener Holzwürmer and Bärbel Matuszczyk will present and sell their work.

The "international Christmas concert in 5 languages" by and with Chris Kramer returns to the Lea-Drüppel-Theatre in Haltern am See in 2025. The special concept contributes to the contemplative atmosphere: Well-known Christmas carols and other hidden treasures will be performed in five different languages. The Christmas message of "peace on earth" is conveyed across language barriers, because despite the different tongues in which the songs are sung, people from different cultures around the world sing in the hope of peace. The listener discovers differences and similarities between the cultures around the theme that moves everyone: Christmas.

Chris Kramer and his ensemble are masters at lending new facets to traditional works. Whether in a foreign language or a different musical style, "old familiar" and "nevertheless new" need not be contradictory. Chris spans the spectrum from blues to classical music, from swing to boogie-woogie to jazz and manages to make the familiar sound fresh while still conveying a sense of contemplation and touching hearts.

Chris Kramer owes the fact that this evening will be a special one not only to a successful choice of programme but also to the talent of his musical contributors. Highly musical, the quartet enchants with a lot of dedication and heart and thus leads through a varied Christmas evening that perfectly reflects the essence of the Advent season.

At Kramer's side are three experienced musicians, all of whom impress with their talent and empathy:

Nina Zaborowski - With her clear and unique voice, the young singer from Marl has not only won several young talent awards, but also the leading female role in Chris Kramer's family musical "Die kleine Mundharmonika". Despite her young age, she impresses with the astonishing feeling and unusual expression of her singing, with which she was able to inspire and captivate the audience last year.

Heike Meering - An experienced soul voice from Schwerte/Ruhr, who has found her musical home in the blues as a long-standing member of the "Komm'mit Mann! She also impressed with her incomparable voice at joint performances with the "PeeWee Bluesgang" and the "Soulfingers", which now adds a wonderful and unmistakable sound colour to the "Chris(t)mas" Christmas concert.

Niclas Floer - The trained pianist was not only able to bring his audience to storms of applause at the Montreux Jazz Festival, but is also on tour worldwide as a concert, pop, musical and jazz pianist. The piano lecturer at the Landesmusikakademie also works as a choir director and music teacher. His sensitive keyboard playing is the perfect complement to the musical interplay of the "Chris(t)mas" ensemble and lends the evening a marvellously dignified setting.

Chris Kramer - a bluesman through and through, who is not only an outstanding musician, but also a gifted entertainer. Thanks to him, the blues is not a deadly thing, but his concerts are full of smiles and laughter. Kramer is able to convey thought-provoking and tongue-in-cheek material, he often has a mischievous side but still has the groove in his heart. His faith has brought him to the "Chris(t)mas" concert series, in which all of his facets come together in the most excellent way, e.g. the joy of making music, the fun of entertaining and the joy of proclaiming the good news.

"Man, reflect and rejoice: it's Christmas!"

The municipal music school invites you to its big Advent concert. All music enthusiasts and interested parties have the chance to get into the musical mood for the Advent season. Various ensembles will present a varied and festive programme under the direction of their specialist teachers. The children from the elementary section will also show off their skills and end the concert with their performance. The Haltern am See music school is looking forward to welcoming numerous visitors.

Christmas in Ireland - does that make you think of mince pies, Christmas pudding and turkey on Christmas Day? And countless pints and Baileys on ice? Christmas shopping on Dublin's Grafton Street? Of Ireland's favourite Christmas song, "Fairytale of New York" by The Pogues? Of children crawling into bed early on Christmas Eve because the newsreaders have interviewed Santa Claus, who has asked that everyone sleep quickly? Yes, exactly. All of that - and so much more. In heartwarming and heartbreaking stories by famous Irish authors such as Roddy Doyle, Maeve Binchy, Frank McCourt and many others, and with Irish music, this evening is a little trip to the Emerald Isle - where it rarely snows, but there is still a "wonderful Christmas".

Also taking part: Ross Antony, Olaf Henning, Christina May and Paulina Wagner, four real guarantees of a great atmosphere who know how to make the year go with a bang. Live DJs will also provide the perfect party atmosphere until the early hours of the morning. "If you've never been to the sea, then you don't know what it smells like, what it's like to be in the waves ... - it's the same with Iceland!" Thanks to travel literature and conversations with experienced travellers, we had an idea of what the far north could be like. Our long-awaited and prepared trip in summer 2025. With our motorhome "Griszu grande", a self-built former fire engine, we set off on our Icelandic adventure by land and water. We set off to discover the north and came back with Iceland in our hearts. Iceland will stay with us for a long time. We were deeply impressed by its wild natural phenomena, its rapidly changing weather moods, a relaxed animal world, the forces of nature and an incredible colour palette of greens and greys.
