The Rockbüro once again invites you to the JUGENDKULTUR NACHT! This year even with rock music on 2 stages. The HipHop Girls from RE will be performing, as well as Nevermind, Wagys and Abondoned Heaven. The line-up is completed by Fall and Locket, as well as Angel Army, Wreckless and finally Nameless.

Charlie is fifteen and misses her father, especially since her mum has a man again. And as if that wasn't enough, her best friend has just kissed the boy Charlie has a crush on. Since then, it seems as if there is a pane of glass between her and the world. And then along comes Pommes, whose real name is Kornelius and who turns the pane of glass into a car window that can be rolled down and through which Charlie can finally stretch her hand up to the sky again.

Around the charcoal pile, a colourful programme of old crafts and hands-on activities provides plenty of variety for young visitors. Whether rope-making, blue printing, leisure riders or representatives of the Hohe Mark Nature Park, freshly baked bread made from old local grains or old blacksmithing skills, visitors can experience experts on site and then purchase the finished products as souvenirs. At 11 a.m., it's time for the traditional "gut Brand" when the pile is lit together. The RVR Ruhr Grün Ranger will also be on hand to provide refreshments.

The appeal of this market lies in the balanced mix of booksellers, second-hand bookshops and many private traders who have cleared out their shelves. In addition to local vendors, the stall holders come mainly from the Ruhr and Münsterland regions. The market offers all book lovers ample opportunity to buy, sell, browse or swap printed matter of all kinds.

The "Fietsenfest 2026 - Die Fahrradtage in Haltern am See" is an outdoor fair right in the centre of Haltern am See, in the beautiful Kardinal-Graf-von-Galen-Park. Lined with tall trees, regionally planted flowerbeds and a water feature, the extensive grounds are all about bicycles. For two days, interested visitors, bike fans and those who want to become one will have countless opportunities to immerse themselves in the exciting world of two-wheelers and experience them first-hand. The event offers a wide range of activities, exhibitions and workshops for cycling enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. A small gastronomic mile will also cater for your physical well-being.

The varied programme of the Fietsenfest also includes guided tours of the city for cycling enthusiasts. The city agency is accepting registrations for these tours until 30 April. The city tours will last around two hours. The meeting point on both days is at the pagoda of the tourist information centre in Kardinal-von-Galen-Park. The tours are free of charge. Registration is required. There will be a small picnic area with deckchairs and a picnic table right next to the city agency's pagoda. Guests can linger and picnic there.

Because the "Fietsenfest" takes place this weekend, the shops open at 1 pm.

After her acclaimed performance in September 2025, Lieselotte is now returning to the stage with a brand new show format. With her usual quirky humour, charming chaos and a good dose of heart, she will lead the audience through the evening and will be supported by three other surprise acts from the world of variety. Exactly who will be performing with her remains a secret for the time being. What is clear, however, is that the audience can look forward to a high-calibre line-up.

Get to know and identify medicinal plants and edible wild herbs along the way and learn interesting facts about how to use them at home for your well-being, health or enjoyment.

Different herbs and medicinal plants sprout throughout the year - different parts of the plant such as buds, leaves, flowers, seeds or roots are collected at different times of the year.

Being able to clearly recognise the plants on a hike all year round is an exciting experience for all ages.

In cooperation with Lippe-Kanu-Tours from Dorsten, the city agency is once again offering canoe adventure tours on the Lippe during the spring and summer season. Participants experience the winding Lippe from a boat's perspective and enjoy a unique nature experience. The Lippe meanders about 10 kilometres through the nature reserve between Datteln-Ahsen and Haltern-Flaesheim and offers unique insights into the beautiful winding river landscape and the natural banks - a river with many faces. The tours start at 11 a.m. at the Haltern-Flaesheim meeting point and last a total of approx. 4 hours. The participant price including bus transfer is 36 euros for adults, children up to 17 years pay 24 euros. The participant price includes 3 and/or 4-seater canoes, life jackets, a waterproof rucksack, a tour guide, a bus transfer and boat transport.
