Right on the market square in Haltern am See, you can enjoy a tour of Haltern am See as a passenger in a classic car. Up to twelve exclusive and lovingly maintained classic cars are available for this purpose. The vehicles come from classic car owners in Haltern (including members of the Rotary Club) who meet regularly for a regulars' table. They not only present their classic cars, but are also available as drivers. A ride can be purchased for a donation of €10 per journey, with each additional passenger paying €5. These donations are then donated in full to ProAnima Haltern am See. The patron is Mayor Andreas Stegemann. An event organised by the Rotary Club Haltern am See in cooperation with the city agency.

The asparagus season provides an opportunity for a special evening on the water: a festive asparagus buffet on board the "Möwe" combines culinary delights with a relaxing cruise around the Haltern reservoir. The event includes a cruise through the idyllic landscape of the lake and a welcome drink. The centrepiece is an extensive asparagus buffet with a varied selection, including fine starters, various asparagus dishes, meat and fish variations with matching side dishes and a selection of desserts. The offer is aimed at all those who want to enjoy the asparagus season in a stylish and relaxed atmosphere in a special ambience.

Good news for all fans of subtle Ruhr area humour: when Kai Magnus Sting performs his new solo programme "JA, WIE?! - Tacheles und Wurstsalat" at the MÖWE in the Stadtmühlenbucht, you can expect an evening that is as entertaining as it is idiosyncratic. In "JA, WIE?!", the artist from Duisburg addresses the seemingly simple, but often astonishingly complex questions of everyday life. Why do you feel lost in the DIY store? Why do you always have to wear other people's slippers? Why does the "intelligent" home overwhelm you? And why is everything always connected? With linguistic precision, speed and a penchant for absurd leaps of thought, Sting develops a programme that sheds new light on the everyday - sometimes sharply observed, sometimes exaggerated, always with an unmistakable tone. "Tacheles und Wurstsalat" combines clear words with self-deprecating lightness - and promises an evening full of punchlines and intelligent entertainment.

On the trail of the stag beetle's habitat.

An exploratory excursion on foot through the Holtwicker Heide. The excursion is full of ideas to familiarise children and adults with the habitats of beetles. On this eventful circular walk, the importance, endangerment and protection possibilities of insects and stag beetles will be demonstrated.

Please note: Don't forget: Sturdy shoes and suitable outdoor clothing.

Together loud against cancer: Riffs Against Cancer 2026 unites music, community and solidarity in a powerful live event. Local and national bands deliver energetic sets to raise funds for cancer research and raise awareness of the importance of medical research. The programme offers a mix of rock, alternative and intense live performances, presented by Rockbüro Haltern e.V. The atmosphere is engaging, positive and infectious, ideal for anyone who loves music and wants to do good at the same time. There are discounted children's tickets and a colourful children's programme for families, making the day a successful day out together. You can look forward to a varied line-up of bands with numerous acts making a strong statement together.

The berry tour starts at 2.30 pm with a small Secco reception at the farm.

The tour then continues to the fields and foil tunnels on the farm.

Here, everything about our cultivation and harvesting of strawberries and raspberries will be explained. Questions are definitely welcome, as are the odd product sample.

The extensive field tour ends with a cosy coffee break.

An extraordinary party night on board the Möwe. The White Party by Phil & Friends combines a stylish atmosphere, electronic beats and an atmospheric evening cruise. In a white dress code, with a view of the water and under the open sky, this evening will be a real highlight of the summer.

Adjiri Odametey is one of the most impressive protagonists of African world music. His trademark is his warm, earthy voice, which fits his musical style perfectly and makes him special. His songs are catchy in the best sense of the word and his melodious compositions effortlessly cross over between different musical genres. Together with his band, Adjiri Odametey uses little-known African melody and rhythm instruments for his music.

Every year, Veterans' Day on 15 June offers a special occasion to pause, listen and engage in conversation. The town of Haltern am See therefore invites all veterans, reservists and interested citizens to an event. The municipal event begins with a memorial service at 10 a.m. in St Sixtus Church. Afterwards, the town of Haltern am See invites you to a reception in the council chamber of the old town hall in the immediate vicinity. There, two sergeant majors from the 3rd Company of the 4th Medical Regiment in Rheine, with which the town of Haltern am See maintains a sponsorship, will report on their experiences in medical service missions abroad. Mayor Stegemann is particularly pleased about the willingness of the comrades from the sponsoring company to do this as a living part of the sponsorship with the town of Haltern am See. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to exchange experiences and opinions at the "get-together". Active and former soldiers are welcome to attend in uniform (preferably field dress).
