Public city tours for individuals
Public city tours offer the opportunity to discover the fascinating history and culture of the city - even as an individual. On selected dates, both locals and visitors can explore hidden treasures and historical highlights of Haltern am See.
The experienced guides lead you through picturesque streets, tell interesting anecdotes and impart knowledge about the most important sights.
From May to September, the tourist information office offers public themed city tours.
Dates for the 2026 season are 09.05., 06.06., 04.07., 01.08. and on 12.09.2026, each at 11:15 a.m., starting from the Old Town Hall. Tickets (€9.00/person) for the city tours will be available from mid-March 2026 at the Tourist-Info and online at www.pretix.eu/tourismus. Children under the age of 14 can go along for free.
From October to March, you can take part in public night watchman tours.
The night watchman tours on 07.02.2026 and 07.03.2026 are already fully booked.
The dates for the night watchman tours for the 2026/2027 season will be announced in good time.
