Der Annaberg und seine Geschichte
Roman discoveries and place of pilgrimage
Not far from Haltern's town center, the Annaberg rises out of the Lippe floodplain. It was not only the Romans who discovered the Annaberg for themselves. Cultural and historical peculiarities, geological features and strange occurrences have made it a unique place, not least a place of pilgrimage. The pilgrimage chapel and pilgrimage church of St. Anna is well worth a visit. Hike the Annaberg in the footsteps of the Romans and pilgrims with a knowledgeable guide.
