Circular hiking trails and forest promenade
Circular hiking trails in the Haard
Starting from eight larger hiking parking lots, there is a short (orange) and a long (blue), reliably marked circular trail. Rustling pines, hard quartzite banks and drumming woodpeckers attract both demanding hikers and families to the Haard. A low-barrier loop in the south and a children's loop in the north complete the offer. The forest promenade is a highlight; it offers adventure and relaxation on the sunny side of the Haard.
Forest promenade
The forest promenade runs largely along the Haard border trail. It is the historical boundary line between forest and field and offers many interesting themes along the 5.5 km route.
It lies on the southern edge of the Haard.
