7-day cycle tour in the fabulous Münsterland region

After your arrival, you can take a "taster tour" on the "H6" circular route around the beautiful Haltern lakes today, depending on your mood. We also recommend a visit to the LWL Roman Museum.

Strengthened by a vitamin-packed breakfast, the next day you cycle along the "100 Castles Route" towards Sythen Castle and on towards Lüdinghausen. Worth seeing are the rose garden in the rose village of Seppenrade, the moated castle of Lüdinghausen and especially the medieval castle of Vischering.
The next stage takes you from Lüdinghausen via Nordkirchen and Ascheberg to Davensberg. Experience the baroque moated castle of Nordkirchen, also known as the "Westphalian Versailles", on this romantic journey through time
The route continues via Capelle and Herbern to Ascheberg-Davensberg.

Via Senden and Nottuln, past numerous palaces, castles and farmsteads, you reach Billerbeck with its charming old town, Ludgerus Cathedral and Kolvenburg Castle.
The penultimate stage leads from Billerbeck via Rosendahl and Coesfeld to Velen. Let yourself be enchanted by the sight of the former fairytale castle from the 13th century (exterior view only).

Now the "final spurt" begins. You will "experience" some of the most beautiful moated castles in the region with Gemen Castle and the moated castles of Raesfeld and Lembeck. Then you have reached your destination of Haltern am See again. Spend the last evening relaxing in the beautiful old town.
