Star hikes on the "Landstreifern"
It is also worth spending a weekend or a few days in Haltern am See to experience some day hikes here, the so-called "LandStreifer".
The "LandStreifer" are circular hiking trails that branch off from the Hohe Mark Steig and offer special nature experiences. In Haltern am See, there are two circular trails, "Deep mountains, high valleys" and "Wild forest foresight", which are waiting to be discovered. But you can also hike great and impressive "LandStreifer" in the immediate vicinity in Dülmen, Olfen or south of the Haard.
