Haltern weekly market

The weekly market traditionally takes place on the market square on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 am to 1 pm. The hustle and bustle and fresh produce combine to create a wonderful shopping experience.

Pilgrimages to the Annaberg

There is a pilgrimage chapel and a pilgrimage church on the Annaberg. To this day, the Annaberg is the destination of many pilgrimages

Coal pile in the Haard

The charcoal pile in the Haard is always lit on May 1st of each year.
