Haltern-Sythen outdoor pool
The Sythen open-air swimming pool has been run on a voluntary basis for many years. Since May 2006, the open-air swimming pool association has managed all matters in and around the pool, which opened in 1973, itself.
In addition to several partly shaded sunbathing lawns, the outdoor pool has a non-swimmer pool with wide steps and a slide, a shaded baby pool and a multi-purpose pool with a (partially) separate 50-meter lane with starting blocks, a non-swimmer area and a 1- and 3-meter diving platform. Many guests enjoy a great and fast slide.
The pools are heated!
The offer is rounded off by a beach volleyball court, a table tennis table, climbing, sliding and swinging equipment with a sandpit for the little ones, a mud track and, of course, changing rooms with lockers (€1 deposit required). All walk-through pools offer the option of a hygienic shower with cold water. Our separate male and female showers naturally have hot water, and hairdryers are also available free of charge. Pia Wendland has joined the outdoor pool and has taken over the gastronomic part with her restaurant'Lido Azzuro'.
