Dachsberg forest playground
The Dachsberg forest playground in Haltern-Flaesheim is a well-known excursion destination. Here, families with children can romp around on numerous natural play equipment and immerse themselves in the world of legends and adventures. Play equipment in the shape of animals, such as a millipede or earthworm, as well as swings, climbing frames and slides offer numerous play options.
Starting from the Dachsberg playground, there are also various child-friendly walks in the Haard forest area, e.g. to the fire watch tower (4.0 km), to the Dachsberg (8.0 km) or the children's circuit for the little ones (2.2 km). All circular walks are signposted.
