Real nature experiences and great views
The 150 km long Hohe Mark Steig long-distance hiking trail, which has been awarded the title "Quality Trail Hikeable Germany", leads across the nature park from Wesel to Olfen over six stages.
The pink signs point the way in both directions.
In addition to the main trail, there is also the "Wasserroute" circular trail from Haltern am See via Olfen and Oer-Erkenschwick back to Haltern am See and the so-called "LandStreifer", day tours, also designed as circular trails.

The "Landstreifer" in the Hohe Mark Nature Park are particularly suitable for beginners and families with children, as they are only between 4 - 6 km long. Experienced hikers opt for a day hike of 9 - 16 km. Each of these tours is a scenic or cultural surprise. Look forward to it!
