Haltern am See in 72 hours
Day 1 - Arrival after midday. In the afternoon, discover the beautiful lake landscape of Haltern on a tour with the passenger ship Möwe. Round off the evening with dinner in the city center.
Day 2 - After a good breakfast, set off on a hike around the Haltern reservoir. The approx. 10 km long circular route leads directly along the shore and offers beautiful views of the natural landscape.
In the afternoon, if the weather is good, you can relax in the seaside resort with its long sandy beach directly on the Haltern reservoir or in the Aquarell leisure pool, where you can swim a few lengths in the indoor pool. In the evening, enjoy the Jupp unner de Böcken adventure beer garden on the Haltern reservoir.
Day 3 - After breakfast, discover the world from a different perspective. The climbing forest at the reservoir offers both moderate and athletic challenges and is simply great fun.
In the afternoon, visit the Granat wildlife park in the very north of Haltern. Not only native wild animals await you there, but also a beautiful and varied area where the animals run free. Enjoy dinner at the Lakeside Inn restaurant, located directly on the River Stever.
Day 4 - Before your departure, visit the LWL Roman Museum and discover the 2000-year-old history of the city.
