Hike without limits
Discover the unique "WaldWasserPark landscape" in the Hohe Mark Nature Park on the 93 km hiking trail in four days. Meet wild horses or semi-wild Heck cattle, hike through the red sea of flowers of the Westruper Heide (July-Sept.) and enjoy enchanting views of the reservoirs. Then climb the Waldbeerenberg, the highest elevation in the Hohe Mark, and marvel at the most beautiful tower windmill in the region.
The Haltern reservoirs, the Stever floodplain, the Hohe Mark forest area and the Merfelder Bruch provide an enticing hiking backdrop. Fantastic trails, picturesque riverside promenades and idyllic forest and farm tracks make the hike very varied. In the evening, it is worth taking a stroll through the charming towns of Haltern am See, Reken, Dülmen and Olfen.
