Family time together in nature - a great experience!

The SteverLandRoute family cycle route not only offers adults exciting adventures in nature but is also suitable for children from primary school age. You start on the return leg of the 4th stage. In Haltern am See, you cycle into the Haard forest area to the Rennberg viewpoint. The view from there is spectacular and makes up for this first strenuous part of the route. The route continues at a relaxed pace through the Haard to the Datteln-Ahsen lock loop, on to Haus Vogelsang and on to 2Stromland in Olfen. Here you will spend the night. End the evening with a leisurely dinner. After a good breakfast, you return home the next day via the 4th stage of the main route on the Steverland route. The Stever floodplains, the new nature park house and the Füchtelner mill in Olfen are worth seeing along the route. There are numerous child-friendly discovery and play opportunities along the way, so there's never a dull moment. The route then heads back to Haltern am See via the Hullerner and Haltern reservoirs to the Blue Classroom, where the route ends at the Stever. Extend your stay in Haltern am See with a visit to the Ketteler Hof hands-on adventure park. This is not only great fun, but also encourages exploration and play in exciting themed worlds.
