The night watchman tells entertaining stories about the things that used to happen in Haltern's alleyways at night:
About the history of the town, its streets and squares, about its local originals and personalities as well as anecdotes, sometimes funny, sometimes mysterious, but always quaint and exciting, from a time that is long gone.

Night watchman tour for individuals
The public night watchman tours start on the following dates:
on Saturdays, 04.10., 01.11., 13.12.2025 and 03.01., 07.02.2026, each at 6 pm and on 07.03.2026 at 6:30 pm from the Old Town Hall.
Tickets at a price of €9.00 per person are available now from the Tourist Information Office in the Old
Town Hall, Markt 1. Children and young people up to the age of 14 are free of charge. Tickets can also be booked online at www.pretix.eu/Tourismus.
