Guided herb hike
All un-weed? Or what?
On a leisurely walk through NABU Haltern's Habitat Kunterbunt, we discover numerous wild plants, herbs, shrubs and trees that can be found along every path. Many of them can be eaten, some have been useful to people in their daily lives since time immemorial or were known to have healing properties.
In many places, the herbalist presents some plants in a clear and entertaining way. She proves that many of our non-herbs are in fact delicious wild herbs. She spices up the plant visit with games, anecdotes and stories. And, of course, she shows that there are poisonous plants as well as edible ones. Learn to distinguish between edible and poisonous herbs by using your eyes, hands and nose. Then nothing stands in the way of eating a herb butter together with wild herbs you have collected yourself.
