Public city tours for individuals
Public city tours offer the opportunity to discover the fascinating history and culture of the city - even as an individual. On selected dates, both locals and visitors can explore hidden treasures and historical highlights of Haltern am See.
The experienced guides lead you through picturesque streets, tell interesting anecdotes and impart knowledge about the most important sights.
From May to September we offer public themed city tours, from October to March you can take part in public night watchman tours. The meeting point is at the entrance to the Old Town Hall at 11:15 am. Tickets cost 9 euros per person and are available from the Tourist Information Office in the Old Town Hall, Markt 1, or online at www.pretix.eu/tourismus available. Children and young people up to the age of 14 can attend free of charge.

The public night watchman tours for the fall/winter season 2025/2026 start on the following dates:
Saturdays, 04.10., 01.11., 13.12.2025 and 03.01., 07.02.2026, each at 6 p.m. and on 07.03.2026 at 6:30 p.m. from the Old Town Hall.
