Campsites and motorhome pitches

There are numerous campsites in Haltern am See that also have pitches for motorhomes.
Haltern am See also has a well-equipped motorhome site, which is located between the town center and the reservoir and is therefore very attractive. The "Haltern am See motorhome park" has already been named the best site of its size by a trade magazine.

The motorhome site is the ideal starting point for exploring Haltern am See, the Münsterland region and the Ruhr area. Bus route 272 takes you from the "Hallenbad" stop to Haltern am See train station in just six minutes.

The popular market square is just a 15-minute walk away. The beautiful town center invites you to stroll through the numerous stores, cafés and restaurants.

By bus and train to the motorhome site

On the road by bike...

The camper van site is ideally located for cycling tours through the charming surroundings. Just a few meters away is the signposted junction network, which offers practically limitless possibilities. The options range from day tours on the H2 (Living Nature) and H6 (Sand and Lakes) routes to multi-day cycle tours on the 100 Castles Route or the Roman Lippe Route.

The new passenger ship "Möwe" regularly crosses the Haltern reservoir. Boarding is possible at four landing stages.
